Wheat Field with Cypresses

A brand new addition to our service offering at Farm Ibenstein is a creative program available for the non-hunting partners who would like to experience Namibia in a different way. Immerse yourself here in blissful tranquillity and timelessness, a secluded location, with breath-taking views and stunning sunsets.

At arrival you’ll have a chat with Anny, a qualified creative coach, after which we’ll design an individual but flexible 'course plan' for you with your host. (we recommend you bring some photos of previous work with you if you have any specific idea of what you would like to achieve during this week.)

What will I learn?
  • How to tap into your creative resources

  • Improving your drawing and painting skills

  • Creating looser paintings in acrylic

  • How to use colour to add drama to your paintings

  • The importance of sketching and composition

  • How best to work with a limited palette

  • Develop self confidence within your own artistic practice in a beautiful  location.

  • Experiment with different materials while loosening up your creative practice.

  • Gain an understanding of the importance of contrasts.

  • Learn how perspective affects landscape painting.

  • Let the artistic journey dictate the finished results without pressure or force.

  • An opportunity to improve painting landscapes filled with sunset or sunrise colours.

  • Groups are kept small to ensure individual attention for all levels and abilities.
